F.A.Q.

What is your photography style?
Our photos tell a story. We shoot in a photojournalistic style. We capture all of the spontaneous moments with a modern, crisp, clean look. We stand out from the other guys with our creative, fun style!

Why two photographers?
It would be impossible for just one photographer to capture the important details and moods of your wedding. We are a well coordinated, experienced team.  We work seamlessly together to give you the best coverage of your big day because there are no do-overs at weddings! Having two of us also enables us to be less obtrusive, as we are not having to jump around the different locations as your event is taking place.

Does Be Original Photography shoot destination weddings?
Yes, and we love them! We are a versatile team able to shoot your wedding in any location. We enjoy using our creativeness as we shoot in new areas.

What if it rains?
We will have fun! Load up on fun umbrellas and go with it.  We will work in rain, sleet, or snow! We do our best to ensure that no matter the weather you will have beautiful photos that you are proud to show off.

Will we receive any black and white photos?
Some photos may be edited in black and white and others might be edited in a more vintage look. We make this decision based on what will look best – what will make the photo pop more.

Can I reprint my own pictures?
Yes, you can. Your package includes a print release, which means you can print your images where you like.  We offer professional quality printing and highly encourage our clients to take advantage of this service.  The image files you receive are calibrated with our professional printing company.  This means your final print product will look exactly the way we created it.  Honestly put, if you print elsewhere, your final print product will not look correct.  How will it not look correct?  The color tone and saturation are always off and the quality is not up to our standards.  We want your prints to be a correct representation of what we created for you.

How long do formals take?
We like to have around 45 – 60 minutes for formals. They are best taken right before the ceremony or immediately after. We like to get the family/group photos over with first and then spend the majority of time with the bride and groom. The more time we have, the more creative we can be with your photos. If you won’t have a lot of time between events, consider adding a Day After session to your package to ensure you get a lot of bride and groom shots.
